The new three -man exhibition at the Heriot Gallery is similar to the Bebop jazz movement but for visual artists.  In Bebop jazz the musicians rely more on their superior technical knowledge of chords and their ability to play extended solos and switch cords to produce innovative and evocative jazz.  In the three man Crighton, Davies and Jefferson exhibition at the Heriot Gallery you will witness the same:- superior technical knowledge, innovative knowledge of the use and exploration of colour in mixed mediums.  The result is a delightful collection of paintings that have been deconstructed using these skills and then re-built with the same component parts but with unpredictability, changeability and are visually exquisite
